Interior insulation, for example primed insulation tile XPS 7 mm:

The underground has to be clean, dry, solid, smooth and able to take a weight. Cut insulation material to size. Apply recommended glue with a notched trowel in lengths on the entire wall surface. Apply insulation tiles at edges, with grey side towards the wall in the adhesive bed and press it tightly with a rubber roller. Level out the joints with cover strips or spackle and grout corners with acrylic. After drying (24 - 48 h), process the desired surface covering according to manufacturer´s instructions. When using vinyl wallpaper solely use special glue that is poor of water.

Laminate underlay:

The underlay is laid floating on the surface. Please be sure that the underground is even, clean, dry, tensile and pressure resistant. In addition, it must not contain softeners, solvents or similar substances. Remove remaining glue or paint residue thoroughly and sweep the underground with a broom. Make it standard practice to lay a CLIMAPOR® PE?vapor barrier foil to protect the floor from humidity. Only exceptionally and after consulting the flooring manufacturer you can forbear from doing so. Let single foil layers overlap about 10 cm and allow to stand high about 5 cm at walls. Close joints vapor-tight with CLIMAPOR® sealing tape aluminium. Place the underlay flush with the wall and make sure the halftone printing lies face up. Butt the layers at edges and cut layers in corner/wall areas with scissors or a sharp knife. Optionally: Fix joints with CLIMAPOR® sealing tape aluminium to avoid sliding. Now you can lay your parquet/laminate floor according to manufacturers´ instructions.

Pipe insulation PE, with slits:

Determine the bow radius with a metre rule. Cut pipe insulation with a sharp knife. Close the joints with clips or woven adhesive tape. Use self-adhesive felt tape for hardly accessible parts. For T-formed sections cut a 90° notch and fit in the counterpart with 45° cuts. Close the joints with woven adhesive tape. For angle sections cut the pipe insulation obliquely and put it over the pipe. Close the joints with woven adhesive tape. Alternatively, there are ready-cut corner and T-shaped pieces.

Pipe insulation rubber with slits and self-adhesive film at the interface:

Mantle the pipe with the insulation tube, remove the cover from the cut surface and glue the cut edges with each other. After that, the tube can be moved at any place of the pipe. Due to the flexibility of the material, you can isolate pipe bows without preparing complicated mitre cuts.
